Pre-treatment preparation
The Nlite laser is the first non-ablative laser with FDA clearance for wrinkle/acne scarring treatments and we are very excited to be able to offer you the latest in laser collagen replenishment. Treatment is quick and discreet. You may experience slight redness, swelling or pinpoint bruising that you can cover with cosmetics and will fade in just a few days. There is little or no discomfort with the treatment, but you may experience a warm tingling sensation. You will be in and out of our clinic in approximately one half-hour (unless you are to undertake further treatments such as Microdermabrasion or peels) and you may resume your normal activities immediately with no recovery time.

Ten rules for people with fair or sensitive skin and those with sun damage.
1.
Cover up in the sunny weather – wear a broad rimmed cotton or felt (not straw) hat that covers your face, ears and the back of your neck. Wear a long sleeved shirt and long trousers or a long dress.
2.
Put a total sun block on the exposed skin (e.g. face, ears, neck, hands and feet). Choose a sun protection factor (SPF) of 25 or greater (i.e. the amount of UVB blockage). UVA protection factor must be at least one-third of the labelled SPF so choosing a sunscreen with a higher SPF will also mean high UVA protection.
