Patient after care instructions for wrinkles, acne and acne scars
In most clients the skin looks normal after this treatment, but you may develop mild redness, bruising and swelling after the treatment, which usually subsides within 48-72 hours. Makeup can be used immediately to cover any redness or bruising.
Starting tonight, and for the next 7 days we advise that you do not use any Vitamin A creams, such as Retin-A, Differin, Isotrex or glycolic acid on the face unless directed differently by our skin care specialists. Mild cleansers and moisturisers can be used during this time. After 7 days you can return to your normal skin care routine.
No post-procedure care is required. However, to protect your skin and enhance the results of your treatment we recommend strict avoidance of ultraviolet light (from sun and sunbeds) on your face by the regular use of total sunscreen creams, containing an SPF 30 against UVA and UVB. (Ask for our recommended list of products). We also recommend a widerimmed hat from April to October and when visiting warm countries. Fake tans and make-up are safe.
